It’s easy to see why with this blend of young Calvados brandies distilled from apples and pears in a copper column still. The final blend is aged more than two years in oak casks, to produce a spirit with lively, fresh aromas of orchard fruit and spice. This is an excellent introduction to Calvados, and a great option to enjoy on the rocks as an aperitif, in a cocktail, or neat after dinner.

Brandy is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented fruit juice, most commonly derived from grapes, with Cognac specifically denoting a premium type produced exclusively in the Cognac region of France. Distinguished by its adherence to strict regulations, Cognac undergoes double distillation and aging in French oak barrels, resulting in a refined and complex flavor profile, making it a symbol of luxury in the world of spirits. However, it can also be produced from other fruits like apples, pears, or cherries. The production process involves fermenting the fruit sugars and then distilling the resulting liquid to create a higher alcohol content. Brandy comes in various styles and aging categories, with different flavor profiles and characteristics, and it can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as a key ingredient in cocktails.
