Wine SpectatorChewy, grippy and mouthfilling, this is a plush and plump style with a bouncy palate and drive of quite rich and concentrated flavours - cassis, red cherry and pomegranate. Licks of salinity come in on the finish and this has a lot to like. It's quit a bold, in your face style, and it's carrying more weight on the mid palate than others which bodes well for future ageing. Sculpted and somewhat muscular but with tons of energy. I like it. A blend of 77% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec complete the blend.
