Barbaresco
Barbaresco is a prestigious red wine from the Piedmont region in northwestern Italy, made exclusively from the Nebbiolo grape. Often seen as the more elegant and approachable sibling of Barolo, Barbaresco offers aromas of rose, cherry, tar, and dried herbs with a refined tannic structure. It must be aged for a minimum of two years (four for Riserva), with at least nine months in oak, allowing for earlier drinking compared to Barolo. The wine is produced in a small zone that includes the towns of Barbaresco, Neive, and Treiso. Thanks to its finesse, balance, and aging potential, Barbaresco is highly respected among collectors and wine lovers alike.
